Okay, so a shorter wheel base and the j or i (or choose any letter here) damper will have more of an effect here than maybe expected of a low downforce setup then?

Amen (if you'll pardon the pun).

Hamilton winning from 3rd has seen a lot of his detractors quieten down, but it was bound to happen.
It's not really a turning point in the season, as Massas pole at Monaco, a track he doesn't like and Ferrari recently have struggled with. Is this down to a shorter wheel base?

Also the Ferrari has a damper similar to McLarena J-damper- maybe Mike PP posted something about it, any one an idea how this bodes for Montreal?

Very very similar to McLaren. In fact just the same :lol::lol: You reckon they might get fined a millon dollars for having it? JESUS CHRIST (parden the irreverence there) a pig just flew through my lounge!!

You dead right they wont get fined! and do you know what McLaren's attitude is. They said they knew they had something special and wanted to hold on to it for a while but they also knew that it would have to become available to everyone, Had they tried to protect the patent(if thats what its called) then the logical conclusion is an end to F1. The example -say the team who first used a rear wing for downforce held the patent for it and no one else could have it-end of competition. Same with any big development. If competition is to continue then innovation has to be disseminated. Now isnt that a nice healthy attitude :D
Hey-let me know how one goes on your bike, I might get one for mine

Well if thats McLarens attitude, it really does show the whole spygate for the pile of **** that it was. Especially when Renault tried to have the device banned last year as they thought it similar to a mass damper.

I think the extra high curbs had to do with it, but they apparently changed that for this year, so we'll see.

Moderators- how can you let this continue?

Your right and I was going to comment last night but decided to sit back and see how it turned out. This thread has gotten so OT it has 'fallen off the side of the earth'!

So no more talk about religion, football-soccer, or anything else please except the subjust at hand ok?

I agree. F1 related however I do condone the Spanish supporters You Tube anti Hamilton thing. Tex can you please expalin to Bernification that English is not my first language, infact not even my second language and that I have trouble at times expressing myself. I seriously do not support the actions of the "Alonso" supporters. Just because I like Alonso and can speak Spanish this does not make me one of them. I remember I was one of the first ones on this forum to post the article from http://www.f1-live.com about the racist chants of Spanish supporters towards Hamilton during testing pre-season at Catalunya and I condomed it. I really do not appreciate practically being called a racist person by Bernification. Once again I condome the Alonso Supporters Youtube made video. Somehow what I wanted to say in the comments was not translated properly into English and some people have gotten the wrong idea about me.

Ok, ok, ok. Hamilton won at Monaco. Hopefully it doesn't happen to often. He may be a good driver but he drives for the wrong team. Hopefully he only does well on slower circuits like Monaco which there isn't too many of. All other tracks, the Ferraris must win otherwise it wont be good. I have to admit he pulled away from Massa and Kubica after stop one and when both Massa and Kubica did a 2nd pitstop after Hamilton had done his and I realised they were on the same strategy, it showed how much faster Hamilton really was. But hey I don't have to like it and am allowed to say that. :)

DD, you can neither prove nor disprove it, so there's little point. I personally don't believe in any god or goddess, but I still respect other peoples' religions. It's impolite and often quite offensive to make posts like that. I would have thought that you would not be one of those who had to resort to stooping to the same level of those who annoy you, to be honest :/

...that second part was in the wrong thread. o.o

one thing DD can prove is that religion in all its forms is the route of all of mans evil.
