I agree with you. I am Catholic as well and can get quite annoyed at this anti God thing. It is one thing to have rivalries in sport and tease each other over preferred teams etc but not religion. Please leave it that at. I don't think our Forum McLaren Priest had any bad intentions by mentioning that God loves us all and in his version loves Hamilton even more, so please lets drop it. In the real world messing with religion can cause much violence. And I don't mean that current Jihad stuff either. I refer to Europe itself where we have had in Ireland, Catholics hating Protestants and Vice versa, and in the ex Jugoslovija Croats and Serbs using religion as an excuse to further fuel their dislike to each other.

The 1955 Le Mans disaster occurred during the 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans when a racing car involved in an accident flew into the crowd, killing the driver (Pierre Levegh) and 82 spectators. In terms of human toll, it is the most catastrophic accident in motorsport history. Where was your imaginary friend then?

The death of Formula One triple world champion Ayrton Senna resulted from a crash that occurred while he was leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola. Senna was very religious. Where was your imaginary friend then?

Give it up buddy

Ah, you're such a good American - not!
If this guy can invoke some religious poo that deeply offends me, I have the freedom of speech to express my views as well - or does the first amendment and your sensitivity only apply to you christians, huh?
Anyway, how would you feel if somebody rubbishes your team and you're not even allowed to post arguments against such crap? That's what you're trying to do here, gagging me - good luck buddy! Stick with your ex-Nazi pope - hm, come think of it, shouldn't you be siding with Max Mosley?:lol:

"AKR" you are Spanish not Italian, Alonso fan dreaming for that nightmare to go to Farrari. I hope he does go to Farrari.

I put God, in every step of my life, my church don't just prise God on Sundays we have him in our hearts every day so we don't do wrong and evil. Where there is evil and satan I call upon him.

Show me or tell me where Lewis Hamilton, himself said he think he like Senna? Lewis Hamilton, is great being himself. Senna was Lewis Hamilton Hero but Lewis never compare himself to him.

God be with all the drivers and Keep them safe. Amen But please let Lewis win WDC 08

Are you trying to say God isn't real? Yeah right and pigs fly. Actually pigs do fly. Just look up and when you see a police helicopter then you'll see flying pigs. *LOL*

I'm not trying to say your wrong, just to drop it like AKR said thats all I was stating. Yes I agree that bigmouth should'nt post idiotic things stating that God is with Hamilton, so just ignore it for crying outloud. I have respect for your opinions, and I respect that you dont beleive in God because thats your choice. Look at what you said
Stick with your ex-Nazi pope - hm, come think of it, shouldn't you be siding with Max Mosley?
.

Did I once in my post put down your religion or what you believe in? No, no I didnt. Seriously DD I thought you were better than that, and posting such comments as that are as stupid as bigmouth's.

It might be over the top, nevertheless, it's factual. If you feel that was a put down, then that's your problem if you live in denial about Ratzinger.
You couldn't put down what I believe in because you don't know what I believe in - I don't generally advertise that

Anyway, it ends here for me as long as bigmouth doesn't live up to his name again :lol:

DD just letting you know I find comments like that offensive, weather it has a factual basis or not. Anyway this topic ends here like you said before and I said earlier on.

I joined this forum with the hope that there would be some intelligent, thoughtfull debate about F1.

AKR, sorry if this truth is uncomfortable, but your taking the piss. I found your posting about Heysel massively offensive, and then to try and blame somebody else for you misinformed and ignorant opinion is cowardice in the extreme.

Your link to u-tube is also hugely offensive and to pathetically claim after posting it that you don't condone it shows really what your made of.

Moderators- how can you let this continue?

AKR- give it up.

Your right and I was going to comment last night but decided to sit back and see how it turned out. This thread has gotten so OT it has 'fallen off the side of the earth'!

So no more talk about religion, football-soccer, or anything else please except the subjust at hand ok?

DD, you can neither prove nor disprove it, so there's little point. I personally don't believe in any god or goddess, but I still respect other peoples' religions. It's impolite and often quite offensive to make posts like that. I would have thought that you would not be one of those who had to resort to stooping to the same level of those who annoy you, to be honest :/

...that second part was in the wrong thread. o.o

Amen (if you'll pardon the pun).

Hamilton winning from 3rd has seen a lot of his detractors quieten down, but it was bound to happen.
It's not really a turning point in the season, as Massas pole at Monaco, a track he doesn't like and Ferrari recently have struggled with. Is this down to a shorter wheel base?

Also the Ferrari has a damper similar to McLarena J-damper- maybe Mike PP posted something about it, any one an idea how this bodes for Montreal?

Thank you Denthul. Thats what I was trying to explain to DD.

Hi DD, I always thought really being a low downforce track Montreal would have always suited the Ferrari, so I can't understand, post Schumacher why it hasn't?

Any ideas?

It's a medium downforce track contrary to common perception. I think the extra high curbs had to do with it, but they apparently changed that for this year, so we'll see.
