Massa is not up to standard. He will win some races just because he is in the best car in the grid, not because he is highly talented. I don't see him as a serious threat. Kubica is a class act, but he does not have the car underneath him yet. When he does, the others had better watch themselves.

Same here. I don't think Massa can pull out good whole season. Some races, yes, but not enough. As the pressure will build up toward the end of the season, he'll loose it. I think in a way he's like DC - good driver, but not driver enough.

Kubica, not this season, but definitely in near future. Hopefully in BMW.

Boardais?
Button?
Webber?

I would like to see 2 new teams come in next year too. Replacing Super Aguri and Prodrives entry?

Now why on earth would Jenson go back to Renault??

Also, I really doubt Webber would leave Red Bull next season, Coulthard maybe, but not to another team... for good. To me Webber will stay in Red Bull alongside Vettel; and Jenson SHOULD definitely stay at Honda... "For Sure". And Renault should keep 'developing' Piquet.

As to any other speculations... still too early. One guy I'd really want to see in F1 though is Bruno Spengler...

Coulthard is stopping of in USA to look at Red Bulls NASCAR team, and spend time with them en route to Canada, Changes afoot? !! :?:?

If Pro-Drive entered under the Subaru name it wouldn't be the first time Subaru have been in F1. They attempted an F1 entry with an old-fashioned flat 12 engine in 1990 by buying out Coloni. The car was almost as big as a disaster as the Life was that same year, failing to pre-qualify for every race despite Bertand Gachot being at the wheel. Subaru then got annoyed and walked away and gave the team back to Enzo Coloni.

I wouldnt write off Nick just yet, Buttons gonna stay and webber is going to stay, i can see alonso hanging on to Renault for just another year and Boardais might move.

not this year, BMW need to put some serious $ to get beemeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr faster to be competitive and win races

It's not all about money. Look at toyota's bill and untill this year they were being beaten by teams that were using 1/2 of there budget.

what about now? Massa is looking in for a real shout, and kubica is picking up points all over? I think the most likly 5 are
Massa - if he can pick up a few more wins
Raikkonen - If he can recover and be dominant for the rest of the season
Kubica - if Mclaren and ferrari continue to slip up
Hamilton - if he can get his a*** in gear and hold his tantrums in

I still don't rate Massa's skill as highly as Alonso et al., but he's a decent guy and I admire his work rate and commitment, which has seen him improve his consistency. So, yeah, he's a contender.
