these 2 guys are going strong, but will they have what it takes to win?

Massa: He is the form man at the momment. Signs pointed this weekend that he has what it takes getting pole on a track he hates. But Unfortunatly his team gave him a bad strategy. i think they should of went form more stops and get some faster laps in. He was going really well in the first shorter stint. I expect ferrari to have strong finish this season. so will massa be the front man?

Kubica: I thought he was gonna win on sunday after he took the lead from massa. but what happened? I can see BMW getting stronger and stronger for the rest of the season. Hopefully a win will come soon, maybe canada?

I dont think massa he did well in monaco but i cant see him being up there all the time but thats my opinion. I personally dont think massa deserves to race with ferrari.

As good as kubica is the BMW just isnt up there i can see him getting up there an possibly a win but ferrari and mclaren are just to far ahead.

Massa maybe, Kubica no, he has the ability, but not quite the car - yet , maybe next year.
Massa seems to have improved enormously this year, I think that he is close to KR now in ability (not quite there). He seems to have overcome the habit of falling off the circuit. - time will tell.
Monaco is not a good indicator of car performance but it is a good indicator of driver ability.

Massa will be up there fighting this year. It's a shame that Kubica hasn't quite got the car yet he is one of the young drivers that I really like and a has raw ability that makes him a superb driver. Hopefully BMW will improve throughout the season and kubica wins his first race

Massa has improved considreably. He's always had good raw speed, but this year he's been up there mentally and his set-ups have been to me even better than Kimi's... Just look at how he rebounded from his 2 flops. And he's in a winning car. So definitely he's a title contender. He's also the hardest working guy out there right now. We all know he's not the natural talent that Kimi and Lewis are. But he almost stole Monaco from both of them through hard work.
Although Kimi just has to put his destroyer cap on..... maybe this last meltdown will wake him up. We'll see.

Kubica... improved considreably as well.. but BMW is still not one to allow you to make up for mistakes with wins. Meaning: Massa secrewed up 2 races and he was able to win - even himself out... If Kubica screws 2 races too, then unless others make mistakes, he's hoping for a 4th or 3rd with a superb performance...

In short :)
Massa yes.
Kubica: no.

Massa is not up to standard. He will win some races just because he is in the best car in the grid, not because he is highly talented. I don't see him as a serious threat. Kubica is a class act, but he does not have the car underneath him yet. When he does, the others had better watch themselves.

Yeah Kubica is F1's future alongside Heikki, Hamilton, Sutil, Vettel and Rosberg.

I wonder who is the best out of them all. I wouldn't like to decide lol.

I never post on here, but this talk about Massa not being up to standards to win a championship is rubbish. Ok, he had two bad races and both of the mistakes were his fault, but besides those two races, he hasnt made any mistakes and he has done pretty damn good. He is a couple points behind Hamilton in the championship and thats with two lost races. I really dont understand why people think that Massa is crap and Raikkonen is king. Massa is doing just as good if not better then Kimi so far this season. I think that if Massa keeps it up, he will actually do better then Kimi, and possibly win the title this year. But, I still dont understand why people give him such a hard time?! He has performed and shown that he can win races and bring in valuable points in for Ferrari, and still people give him crap. He is a very emotional person, and you can see it when he wins a race and when he does not win. I really think that Massa has matured alot throughout this year and is actually not making the silly mistakes that he use to make. I really hope that Massa wins the title.

People think Massa is crap because he is only good at a handful of tracks, and the fact that he only wins if he is on pole or on the front row. Thats the truth, and out of all the races he has won they were from the front row and at those certain tracks he's good at.

He was in with a very good chance of winning on Sunday, and Monaco is his least favourite track... ;)

I hand it to Massa he is a very good qualifier but the fact that he cannot overtake means that he is not the complete driver. He is lucky he is in a Ferrari

Massa does seem to crack under pressue at times, but when he's in total command of a race, there's no budging him, even if you're on an agressive strategy like Hamilton's in Turkey.

The thing is that with today's cars overtaking seems very difficult and close to impossible. It should be interesting next year with the new regulations. And IIRC, there was a race a couple of years ago were Massa had a terrible qualifying session were started way back in the grid and made his way up and finished decently. Its funny how Massa gets s*** for not being able to pass and for being lucky because he is in a Ferrari, but when you look at Hamilton and Sutil, no one gives Hamilton any s***. If Hamilton was in an inferior car, he would be doing just as good as Sutil... and if Massa was in the same situation, he would be doing just as good too. And if Massa is lucky to be driving a Ferrari, then Hamilton is extremely lucky to be driving one of the best cars on the grid in his first two seasons.

Edit: The race that I was talking about was Bahrain 07... Massa started 16th and finished 6th
