Weeeell... would you agree with me that, while LH did have great race, he didn't really drive so brilliantly. He did have enormous luck to see his mistake actually helps him get the victory, but because of that mistake I can't agree he did drive brilliantly as, in general, I see brilliant driving as driving without mistakes.

I cant believe Raikkonen wasnt penalized after he ran into the back of Sutil. If a McLaren would have hit Sutil, it would have been a different story.

I don't know about McLaren, but comes to Kimi, I don't think he should have been punished. He lost grip way behind Sutil and pretty much slided into him not being able to brake, he didn't just ram into Sutil...

i'll agree part way- Lewis' drive was not error free. Yes he touched the wall. In fact all the top3 made errors. However subsequent to that I still think Lewis did a brilliant drive. On his second stint he pulled out 40 seconds on the others thats not the one stop he needed but almost 2 stops. Pretty impressive id say given the conditions.

Two people drove brilliantly and flawlessly today - Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil. Had it not been for the first safety car, the race would have been between Massa and Kubica and, with Massa's mistake, it would have been quite easy for Kubica to take his first victory here. Of course, that's meaningless seeing as the entire race could have happened completely differently. :/

Why on Earth should he have been penalised? He lost control of the car and, unfortunately, that resulted in him hitting Sutil. There have been many other accidents where people would be more deserving of a penalty than Raikkonen today. It was sad, but nothing about it justified the incident even being brought to the attention of the stewards.

Yes sorry Kubica drove a great race. I was rthinking top 3 in the championship(Lewis massa kimi) but now you've said that im not sure without checking if that is the top 3

That was mostly because Ferrari/FM switched to a one stop strategy (in anticipation of the forecast rain that didn't come), so they filled his tank to the rim and he was heavy and slow. Under regular circumstances FM was at least as fast as LH, so there's hope for Canada

Ah, apologies. I forgot about his result (though to be fair, we didn't even see him today). That's good for him, but he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to be seen as the talented rookie of last year. He's only finished a couple of races so far this season and, aside from Australia and Monaco, he's not impressed much in qualifying or the race. :/

A lot of drivers had great races today, really. Barrichello and Nakajima did quite well, considering their starting positions. Heikki also did well to finish where he did in the end.

Lewis was also fuelled heavy for the second stint,they filled him after he hit the wall and thats when he was really pushing. I think its hard to compare relative speed in such a mixed up race. Filipe drove well though specially as its a track he doesnt like. who gows well at Canada, I cant remember?

Well, at the start of the season I was looking forward to Sato and Davidson having a great race there again, but that isn't to be. Canada may well be a Kubica track, though if it's chaotic enough and Heidfeld does a decent job in qualifying, he might be able to pull something off.

I'm going to be bold and put my money on Kovalainen, though.

hamiltons race was superb, but alot is down to Mclarens overall supremacy around Monaco.
I mean Kovalinen may well have won if he hadnt lost gears... if not a 1-2

I didnt mean for it to sound like he should have been penalised, but thanks for clearing that up What I meant to say was that I was surprised that he wasnt.
