FIA should generate a rule to start LH from the last position, then all races would be exciting (they are good at generating mindless new rules).

In show jumping, traditionally, the three individual medals were decided by the top four riders jumping four rounds and trading horses for every round, so each rider rode every horse. This changed in 2016. But how about that? How about the leader in the championship drives his car for a sprint race, then swaps his car for the car of the last in the championship standing and races a second sprint race. The second in the standing does the same with the second to last and so on. Aggregate times of the two sprint races will then decide the GP winner.

It was more entertaining than usual. However, for me it's like a teacher singing the praises of a lazy kid who gets an F rather than flunking out of school. We've grown accustomed to boring races so that even an average one (like Monza) becomes the stuff of folklore.

That said I'm so pleased for Gasly.
