How was the race in the heat of Hungary?

8 from me.

Drama really kicked up a notch following the Mercedes/Hamilton pit stop for tires. VER knew it would be close; HAM thought it might be close. So exciting watching the gap close. Will he? Won't he? Good racing.

Great too, seeing Verstappen pit for a set of used soft tires and go out and earn fast lap point in, what, the last three laps? Good for him and good for the crowd.

I enjoyed the tactical battle but at the end of the day there were long stretches of boredom/fuel saving included in the race which kept my rating down, a 5.

I'd give it a 6/10

Start was great, but got a little tedious in the middle until Hamilton caught up with Max

A 7, would have liked to see Max have just enough tires to hold off Hamilton, but brilliant strategy call by Merc to bring Hamilton in for fresh boots.
