...Just as Mercedes would do, if the shoe were on the other foot.

Let me correct myself...
WHEN the shoe is on the other foot, Mercedes WILL employ team orders, in spite of insisting their drivers are allowed to race.

...Vettel has to realize that he doesn't need to attack or race Kimi. Hamilton is the one he is racing. All he had to do today was follow Kimi through the corner.

Vettel also has to realize that Hamilton and Mercedes will use ""interesting tactics"" themselves!!
If not for Bottas backing Kimi up into Hamilton, the results would probably have been different.

I say probably because you just never know what might happen.

Nah, his tires would have been shot either way...

maybe... but, it's really annoying how Kimi's his luck just never holds for an entire race...

They screwed up months ago when they made their tire choices - they weren't really up to snuff on the yellow soft tire's deg before the race.

Actually, the FIA screwed up years ago, when they let Mercedes write the regulations on the Turbo engines
and when they didn't deem it illegal that Mercedes secretly tested the Pirelli tires...

All the other teams, including Ferrari, are just trying to catch up to all the above advantages bestowed upon Mercedes!!

I actually quite enjoyed this race, three changes of leader, via an actual on-track overtake. Max acting like a child, costing himself and RB two valuable points. I really hope that the golden boy gets a bollacking in the debrief, maybe get fined some of his salary, Daniel Ricciardo can't get a break right now, his fourth retirement from six races.

Sagi, you're really starting to sound like McLaren, always talking about the past. We know you don't like the way Mercedes were allowed to get away with things in the past, they are in the past, Ferrari has the faster car right now, just that Mercedes had the superior strategy, regardless of how you feel, what Bottas and Mercedes did was all above board and legal.

As for Ferrari not being allowed to use team orders, I never said that, I will never like team orders, regardless of who employs them, but I accept that they are part of the sport.

Mission accomplished!! Most of those comments are written tongue in cheek, because that's alllllllll I heard for the first few years as a Ferrari fan...
How Ferrari cheated, how Ferrari had the FIA in their pockets, yada yada yada...

Yup... superior strategy... two against one... and, here I was just about to accept that there were no team orders at Mercedes... oooops... that was in the past, when team orders were illegal... you see, I forgot that Mercedes always follows the rules...

Late to the party but god, Ferrari completely screwed Raikkonen's race. I think they just forgot about the Finn and concentrated on Seb. I almost broke the TV when they pitted him early (compared with the rest of the field). It was like releasing a goldfish into a tank full of Mercedes-powered piranhas.

Vettel has thrown Hamilton another championship and still has the nerve to question why Raikkonen can be allowed to go faster. I didn't watch the end of the race (seeing Kimi's race die was enough, I didn't want to see his blistered corpse ripped apart too) but credit to Hamilton and Mercedes - they smashed the prancing donkey.

I really, really feel for Kimi - he was out there alone in my opinion and drove superbly all weekend.
