SV: didn't put a foot wrong while executing a strategy that was changing on the fly and was based on a marginal call and making tires last way longer than they should have.

Gasly honorable mention for putting the Toro Rosso/Honda up there and throwing a pie in McLaren's face.

It would have to be Vettel.

Starting from pole Vettel ran a fault free race. He had excellent pace, at the a critical point he quickly got past Hamilton who was trying to slow him down to give Bottas the win, and then at the end held off a charging W09 in full party mode for 10 laps with used up tires to take the top step.

I think that Vettel is the only driver currently in the sport who could have pulled this off. Excellent work.

I'm going to go for Pierre Gasly for putting his STR Honda in fourth place, which I believe is Honda's best result since their return to F1.

There was some bad blood between MV and SV last season, so maybe that played a role as well...
