Alonso, just because he finished fifth, a solid result after three years of discontent, although he had a little help from HAAS and the subsequent V/SC.

I picked SV over FA for being able to keep LH behind for so many laps after the fortuitous VSC. FA one could argue did similar things with MV.

I think that you're giving too much credit to Vettel, it seems more like the nature of the track, every driver had an almost impossible task to overtake, I saw several drivers cruise to within one second of the car in front, then struggle to make any further inroads, even with DRS, just look how long Bottas in a far superior car was stuck in 13th place.

Poor Bottas was at the end of Alonso's train where all the cars in front of him had DRS. This made it very difficult indeed for Bottas to make headway.

Vettel though didn't have DRS to help defend against Hamilton's much faster Merc.
