Got it working now in Firefox, clicked on the padlock icon in the address bar, then clicked the " >" next to http://www.forumula1.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and finally clicked "Disable protection for now", the page reloaded and I can see the video embedded in the page. All these issues started when the forum went to HTTPS, however the YouTube embed code is still generated as HTTP.

The code DD used is different from the one used on the link from youtube...

The padlock for Forumula is crossed out in red on my Firefox. When clicking on the padlock, it says that it's not secured and offers the option to enable protection. It also explains that this website contains content that is not secure (such as scripts) and your connection to it is not private.
So, since I didn't change the settings, it seems that Firefox's default behavior is to not grant the website protection blindly simply because there is an https and thereby provide a false sense of security...
