And unlikely now as the rain is falling in Sao Paulo. Rosberg is not very good in the rain so a 4th or 5th place is likely if things stay the same.

Oh and a wonderful race start 'Whiting style' behind a safety car for 10 or 15 laps just to add to the excitement is possible.

Good for Button though, he could win it if the rain is intermittent!

Thank the heavens for the rain; the wet race certainly spiced things up; three safety car periods, six if you include the restarts, crashes, spins and some phenomenal drives, notably Max Verstappen; absolutely amazing driving from the young Dutchman, driving from 11th to third in sixteen laps to the end. I think that it's time to look at monsoon tires again, the amount of red flags was stupid; thankfully I watched the highlights so the stoppages were short, I don't know how long they actually were.

The stoppages dragged on and on, especially as they seemed back to back to back...
The drivers even got out of their respective cars a couple of times...

The wet weather tyres are , they have to vastly increase the amount of testing for the future because these tyres are so bad, both slicks and wets actually, they are just about the worst thing about F1 today. I know testing is very expensive but it is worth it in my view because it greatly helps the teams understand and improve performance, that is why they went crazy with testing 15 or 20 years ago, it is a big help to their performance. Just put a cap of something like 30 days a year per team and let them get on with it, honestly it will massively improve the racing in F1, especially in wet conditions just to better understand the tyres.

There is NO sense in not testing!
Sure, it can be taken to the extreme; but, as you said,
that's how teams truly understand their cars and all
the variables from tires, to weather, to use...

For pity's sake, none of us would buy a car that hadn't
been properly tested, why should F1 be any different?
