What features should the BBC's interactive channels show?#43624

I'm pretty excited about the move to the BBC, but am anxious about what they'll do with their coverage as the ITV's is going downhill, as did the BBC's before they lost it 12 years ago.

I reckon they should have things like driver pulse rates and real time driver locations round the track on their interactive pages otherwise we run the risk of the Beeb just showing F1 on interactive and not adding anything to it.

I'm interested to hear what other people think on this, am I alone in wanting cool new features?

Real-time positions, sure

Jenson Button: Professor, Chauffeur, World Champion Racing Driver.

High Definition is important for me, widescreen also would be nice.

Ability to switch between driver's on board cameras.

More driver to pits chat.

John Watson and Martin Brundle commentating.

Showing Free practice on friday would be a good start. Also a choice of which team you want to follow during the race would be good as Williams, Red Bull etc don't get enough TV time imo

Supersports in South Africa in my opinion does this better then anyone else. Every race meet they have almost as much airtime as the F1 Digital + channel we had for that one sweet year.

The old track is gone, but there is a new, inferior one in its place. Well, in second thoughts it's not that bad, just not the same high speed thriller the original once was.

Is it the track that was used in 1992 and 1993?

Yeah that's the one, and it was a great track at tht. I seen the GP masters went there for their first race a few years ago, the track was alot poorer than it was in the past.

As for the BBC, someone on the pistonheads forum is saying James Allen isnt going to the bbc next year. Something about overhearing Louise Goodman on a flight home or something...

The new Gladiators is terrible! They don't even look right. I'm not intimidated by any of them
