With testing just a few weeks away it is time to think ahead to the next season of racing.

Which drivers will be the top three in the WDC for 2016? Pick three from the list.

Cast your votes and feel free to explain the reasoning for your picks!

What of the supposed Honda gains of 223 hp? http://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports ... 3-hp-more/

And Ferrari finally getting rid of the pull rod front suspension (the last vestige of Alonso!)?

And of course Red Bull getting a watch company to help with their engines!

Also for those who were thinking about voting for Maldonado you had better read this first - http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2016/02/01/m ... s-f1-exit/. So he is gone, I guess Magnussen is in.

I don't see much changing for this season, I think Hamilton will win with second/third being decided between Vettel and Rosberg

Snap. No major revisions to the car this year. Even if they weren't to be as dominant, Mercedes will still be one of the top two teams no matter what. Likewise Ferrari are not going to go backward, if anything they will close the gap. I really can't see anything other than the top three being from the four drivers for these teams. The only possibility of anything else would be if either Red Bull or Williams can make up a bit more ground than expected and get amongst the fight for second in the constructors. Not highly unlikely, but probably both will still be a little behind Ferrari.

As has been stated above, I also can't see much changing this year. (We have been surprised in the past at times like this, but it'll honestly be a miracle if Merc aren't running on ahead again).

With testing over and Australia fast approaching it appears to be the same pecking order among the teams as last season. Ferrari may have made some constrained headway but in a sport where a tenth of a second makes a car a winner being three tenths to half a second back would seem impossible.

If Hamilton can get his act together after his dismal end to last season then he is on for another easy championship. Can Vettel pick off Rosberg? Maybe.

I haven't noticed much hype or excitement on the forums or F1 websites for the Australian GP. It almost seems to be the invisible Aus GP. I hope it turns out to be a good race and a good season in spite of the indications.
