I stand by my point, that move was never going to be successful, Kimi was carrying too much speed and was in no way alongside according to the FIA rulebook, hence the penalty.

I'm just saying that I think Kimi had a good drive, even if it didn't end well.

Kimi had a good drive until the last lap incident. But, in my opinion, a driver that makes a rash move that ends the race for another driver can not be considered to have had a good drive. If Lewis made the same move, the critics would be out in droves.

Kimi had a good drive until the last lap incident. But, in my opinion, a driver that makes a rash move that ends the race for another driver can not be considered to have had a good drive. If Lewis made the same move, the critics would be out in droves.

For Kimi though I think that the critics would have been out in droves if he hadn't tried to make a move.

In F1, the only real yardstick is your team mate and Vettel is frankly embarassing Raikkonen this season. It's not like Raikkonen is a rookie driver, he's been around longer than Vettel and in the Ferrari team longer than Vettel AND is a former world champion, yet the German is head and shoulders above in terms of performance.

Yep, Vettel showed his potential before going to RedBull and while I think he had it relatively easy at RedBull and still had a lot to prove I think he's now proving his doubters, which I count myself as one, wrong.
Still, wish Kimi could get his head on the right way and find the form he had that year at lotus.

To use my phone in the car I deleted all my German contacts, it's now Hans free.
