Nice article here from Will Buxton:

Social media, especially twitter and Facebook, is rammed to the rafters with deafening negativity surrounding F1. The rose tinted specs are brought out with screaming, wild, uninformed abandon.

It's interesting how the latest attempt at a comparison with the past involved the 2004 season - one of the most dreary and monotonous in living memory.

Perspective please. This article gives a balanced view. No, F1 is not perfect. W've not witnessed the best season in living memory, but it's honestly not as far below previous years and decades as people like to make out.

Will is definitely suffering from denial.

If he really wants to help he should start by calling out the major problems in the 'sport' starting with the stifling rules and the lack of competition. Defending this mess might seem natural to Will after all he is probably fearful for his livelihood but the best way to fix it is to confront the reality that the formula is seriously flawed.

"But hey, let’s just keep on banging that old tired drum shall we?"

Will is definitely banging on that 'status quo in denial' drum.

I guess it's all about perspective, isn't it?

Those who are not Hamilton/Mercedes fans would probably not be impressed with the season's outlook.
Those who are, will be loving it.

Perspective.
