The latest car being built for an attempt at the land speed record, powered by a eurofighter typhoon engine and a rocket motor. With a 550bhp V8 jaguar engine just to pump the rocket oxidiser.

In total, eight times more power than all cars on the F1 grid combined.

My worries is they use Serco

My worries are the wheels. They reckon the heat generated between the wheels and the sand will melt the sand, but sand has a higher melting point than aluminium, which is what the wheels are made of.
