Don't see why not, Unless a heavy build up of snow or ice would be a problem but maybe with frequent trains there would be enough heat from the track to stop that

Depending on where those trains run, that might very well be a
problem in spite of heat being generated from frequent runs!!

Just found they use warm water sprinklers to clear snow and ice.

We were down to -25C (-13'F), with a wind chill of -40C (-40'F), I'm betting
those warm water sprinklers don't stand a chance!!
