A change to the wall adjacent to the left-hand kink, located before the hairpin, was ordered by the FIA in its regular post-event report.

The change is among the $4.5 million of improvements at Montreal this year, including better paddock facilities and several resurfaced corners.

It is also understood that proper paddock toilets for each team have also been installed, after David Coulthard earlier this year slammed the usual Canadian GP 'portaloos'.

What? Did DC's holeproof underdaks get tangled up in there while he was peeping through a hole into the neighboring portaloo with Louise in it?

It will be interesting to see what changes they have made. Improvements to the place where RK went off will be obvious, as will pit improvements. There is usually a "pit walk through" for fans on Thursday (June 5th) so we should get a glimpse of them.

Not so obvious will be where DC, et al, get to pee. I sincerly hope he will find it a more welcome and comfortable facility. Of course, we the fans (the great unwashed) will still get to whiz in the blue boxes.

We went to some permanent facility, but it was nasty - while I held my breath I tried to not touch ANYTHING (than myself ). I don't think I've ever peeked into one of those blue boxes - must be nasty I imagine.

I think I know where you mean. Was it down a couple of sets of stairs, below where they have the merchandise and food cocessions just before grandstand 24? Years ago, few people knew that place existed and it was a good spot. You're right it is nasty now. All things considered, I think the blue boxes are better now. I can't believe I said that.
