that has been out in the open for ages, what are you trying to say? or should i say stirr?

They told their drivers to hold stations after the pitstops. smart thing to do in Monaco last season when both your cars are 1 minute ahead of P3

i mean i thought that McLaren favoured Lewis isnt that what Alonso fans say? not Alonso like youre trying to point out

Cheap blow, bud! 8)

Well that is not favoring - that is just precaution to prevent drivers taking each other out of the race. Monaco is almost impossible to overtake - specially when cars are equal. If Lewis managed to pull pitstop overtake or was leader from the start, I'm sure McLaren would have issued same "advice".

But letting Lewis pull his qualifying stint in Budapest - now that...

And honestly, I don't see a point of Lewis making statement like this... again. First of all, he would not be able to overtake in race anyway - unless FA made a huge mistake (and FA is not so keen on making huge mistakes). And regarding that simple fact of life, it is so lame craping on your own team for no real reason at all. He's just trying to make himself bigger than life.

One thing I'm sure of - Lewis will better Schumacher. When it comes to arrogance, at least.

You have that wrong . Arrogance is the one crown Schumacher will retain forever!
They did not "let" Lewis pull a qualifying stunt. He did it by himself and was reprimanded for it and he apologised. It was no big deal anyway.
Craping on yor team??? Now I think you're confusing him with Alonso who did incidentally make some pretty dumb mistakes last year whilst overdriving when Lewis was ahead.

Well, then... when a rookie decides to s*rew team's qualifying strategy and pull his own stunt (with or without F*** word over the radio), wouldn't you agree that it is a "bit" arrogant..?

It was big deal for Alonso, and it was big deal for the team. By playing his own game, LH stood against the whole team. That is the way I see it. Apologizing just doesn't help. I'm not saying Alonso did right thing with that pitstop camping stupidity, but I am saying he was provoked to react and at the end, points he has lost in Budapest might have decided drivers' championship. And they were not lost due to race error or accident or car reliability, they were lost due to lack of driver's discipline and capability to play along with the team.

I don't mind if driver oppose team strategy while it is being set, but once it is set, playing rebel against it is - by my standards - simply not acceptable.

And, recalling Monaco "issue" that happened a year ago, and basically saying "I know better than the team" though he is obviously not right... that isn't arrogant at all..?

Yeah, Alonso was spitting on the team while crap was happening... but Lewis still hangs to it a year later. Please...

My personal opinion is that LH is not talented. Now compared to the average guy, you have to be talented to be in F1. But compared to the rest of the field, I guess he's average.

Take both HK and LH. They are both on their 2nd second year in F1 but HK has been more on top of his game than LH. If it were not for the tire rupture in Spain and Kimi puncturing his tire in Turkey (not on purpose  ), he would be ahead of LH. Those were not caused by the driver which means that HK has more control of his car and his race.

And for LH to request that somehow the team doesn't pick a #1 driver yet, suggest to me that he is arrogant :x Who is he to tell the team what they should do. It's up to Ron to decide when to start giving a driver preferential treatment. Oh, hold on a second, that doesn't happen at McLaren HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

What if I don't want to post an intelligent comment!

Anyway, I read most of the threads and most of the time all I see is arrogance and ignorance. So I'd rather be a fool!

Yes i agree there is a diference of opinion but like him or not Lewis is extremely talented and the most likely to beat Kimi. Therefore to dig up things that happenned a year ago, to constantly put him down , make fun ,well I think thats a little sad not to mention unfair and very annoying.
He's just topped practise times by the way :D by half a second :D:D

The bottom line of this folks is that LH said this in public. Can you imagine Micky Schumacher saying anything like this? - no chance - it was a contractual condition that he was number one driver.
LH is making a fair point, and few drivers would have the guts to say this, if they thought that they were the best driver.
A refreshing bit of honesty by LH I think , and great that, as a McL team member , he is able to say things like this. Other teams, Ferrari in particular, hold a very tight reign on what drivers can and cannot say.
In my view, LH behaves like a true sportsman, he competes hard, he acknowledges how good his opponents (teams and drivers) are and he has a sense of fairness that very few other drivers or teams have.
When he is world champ, and he will be one day, he will bring some dignity to the sport, sadly missing with MS & FA.
