But Lewis just doesn't sell stuff I guess?!

Which part of "2014 most marketable sportsman" is confusing you? Are you purposely trying to act stupid or should we direct some empathy towards you.

Thats a good question that I considered a while ago, here are the clues I used in coming to a conclusion whislt laughing till I nearly cried;

MS designed the 2014 car in 2012 DURING races (he agreed with this before deleting his agreement later)
Changing the engine regs to go back to V8s was wanted by Honda who were been unfairly stiffled by Merc (before they even completed a single lap)
Erich Bouiler is a Merc insider speaking the unbiased truth when saying the freeze WAS HOLDING HONDA BACK (before even using up their initial tokens for the first year)
In the last 8 years - the V8 era - the teams developed their engines THEMSELVES from race to race
The inability for teams to spend an unlimited amount was why Ferrari were behind Williams AND why the 2 small teams went bust
Lewis as WDC after 2 months is not getting paid for endorsements and is not wanted because he made 1.5million 5 years ago from Reebok whist at McLaren, but Nascar drivers and Alonso make more so that proves everyone wants to BOYCOTT the reigning F1 Champ

Heres the best one - Bernie is going to go into the Jan meeting and change the engines even IF THE TEAMS DIDNT AGREE

its like dumb and dumber, we are never sure which is which

I would imagine the Alonso clothing merchandise would be blurred by the fact that a lot of Ferrari fans would buy it because it is Ferrari and not because it is Alonso.

Such bitterness. I love it.

Lewis Hamilton, 3 time WDC... Yeah that sounds nice, now get out there and make it happen son.

Unfortunately I am lumbered with 'Lewis balancers' like your self and the other bright sparks

lets put it in a format gary Anderson could probably understand

lewis was at Mclaren

At mclaren he had no freedom for endorsments

he is now at merc

he has freedom to cut deals

he just won the WDC 2 months ago

So we need to wait to see before we can start making hastly mea culpas

no one has forgotten your cleverness in arguing for the engine unfreeze as a solution to prevent Merc and Lewis

You are factually wrong already about how much he gets from endorsements

there are others here who know more than you and most important are honest

you and your constant 'mistakes' in your haste to boycott the current WDC are the definition of the compulsive loser

to be honest its sad that only a couple of the lamest boycotters remain around to provide entertainment

lets wait till the cheaper V10s come back as bernie waves his magick stick etc etc etc

see ya in 2017 :loser:

You are lumbered??!! I had responded to a post by WB which claimed that Lewis made most of his money off track, patently false info. Nothing to do with you!

But because you are claiming to be the the one in charge perhaps you should police your own minions when they post misinformation instead of swarming posters who bring correct info.

Oh and another fact, Lewis won a wdc back in 2008! He has had plenty of time away from Mclaren to gather his endorsements if there were any offers that is.

Get your head in the game cookin. Your minions will start to wander off if you can't even get the basics right!

Patently false... where did I say that the majority of the money he's earning comes from sponsors? Read it again. I say that he's been restricted from his earning potential because of the McLaren contracts. Given Lewis' marketability rating (which you're not even acknowledging) since it makes you look like a down right idiot for claiming something and then having that claim be proven as wrong as it couple possibly be. Let's also overlook the statements about his potential now that he's free from those restrictions and has a second WDC to his name and is the winningest UK F1 driver in history "I would definitely say he's going to be Britain's highest-paid sportsman ever," Currie told Telegraph Sport.

"he just isn't that much in demand" It sucks to be a h8r of late OB, but bitterness does becomes you. :cloud9:

Haha, go ahead lash out at others, like anyone cares, reminds me of Roth lol

You are actually in danger of slipping behind your own yardstick in the dumb and dumber 'MS car designer' fan club . which is truly an achievement

Lewis and Alonso's salary are partly based on sponsor income directly related to their employment and written in their contracts. So the team sponsors will be indirectly inflating these salaries. Like Santander and Alonso - who is sometimes sneeringly referred to as a pay driver

So that's another big fail for boycotters everywhere, as Lewis pay is indirectly from team endorsements and a big UNDISCLOSED amount on top will come from personal stuff

Forbes don't know what that is for 2015, neither do butthurt frustrated boycotters, one things for certain - if Lewis ain't making 10 mill on personal sponsorship no one else is either.

You can't just make things up, just like you can't just whip a rope out to make your butt hurt less

Repeat after me ' I can't prove Alonso or anyone else is more wanted than Lewis, therefore I am just an ugly bigot who is too thick to bring logic, all I have is another mea culpa'

:loser:

Hey now, I draw the line, I have to defend the fact it's OB's right to h8 on Lewis. But I can't defend you making stuff up OB, that's just not right and it makes you look as if there's absolutely nothing behind your claims other than the h8r mentality. How can you be taken seriously when you say stuff like that?

If you want to have a valid discussion fine, we welcome it. But you can't just whip something out of your bum and call it a fact. Sagi will tell you what happens when you try that.

Forbes was the one reporting 150 million pound sterling over three years. I mean no one throws money away in the sport like Ferrari, and Lewis is not driving for them. The most he'll be able to squeeze out of them is something considerably more than what they're giving Rosberg plus a scaled bonus for wins and a championship. Lewis' big money comes from outside the sport. The contracts where he can get paid for his star power.

Apparently something he was locked out of at McLaren but has room to negotiate in at Mercedes.

Clearly his big money comes from inside the sport not from sponsorship outside the sport. It is $32M vs $2M! That is the message.

Posting Hamilton's actual sponsorship information makes someone a 'hater'?!

The numbers don't lie, racers like Rossi, Alonso and even Danica have been more in demand than Hamilton. For whatever reason, who knows?

Talk about making stuff up! Perhaps you can produce some factual backup info for that off the wall claim.

Looks like you have gotten your head jammed up in your so called 'mea culpa triangle' again. Or is just still stuck in there from last time!

ps. Are you now saying that Hamilton is some sort of pay driver?

I think you mean... were much more in demand.

Ooohh I love the latest twist, now it's Rossi and Danica, in different motor sports that don't have the same profile and wage structure are now proof Lewis is unloved for reasons of 'I wonder why'
What happened to Alonso who is in F1, seems to have dropped the claim he is endorsed more that the reigning champ, let's run away and hope no one notices the dust cloud hahahaha

OB you can't just make things up when people 'sharper' than you are around and expect to lie your way out. Like WB said you can't just pull something out your arse crack and call it a fact, you can put lipstick on it, or tie a ribbon around it but at the end of the day it's still gonna stink on account of the small fact that it is still a turd

You can boycott certain drivers for reasons of 'I wonder why' but you can't boycott your own excrement

^The toys are flying out of the pram now.

Be careful not to hurt yourself with all this flailing around!

ps. Did you really infer that Lewis is a pay driver no different than Alonso?
#432483
Next time try ask for the schooling before trying the boycotting Mcfly

Now listen carefully, Santander paid Alonso's salary and now Honda pay his salary, like PDVSA pay Maldo

McLaren and now Merc pay Lewis directly

Hence one is a pay driver and the other is a paid driver
