i doubt very much that Ferrari will spend much time on a satellite based telemetry system that disguises the cars lap times and prevents everyone from working out how fast (ok, ok, last year was actually how slow) their car is because they want to keep 'secrets'

This gets me everytime....I still remember the original author confidently explaining his part and being so sure, and the whole time I was just thinking WTF is he on?

Vettel was last seen running down the Pitlane with a finger pointing and wagging at everyone. Alonso was last seen running to the ferrari motor home to try and resign.

Lets remember Ferrari were also first on the timesheets on day 1 last year. And the top six times this year on day 1 were within 3 secs of each other - like I anticipated, and we can see Honda have an unexpected issue. However, according to my previous calculation, they can enter the 3 sec delta tomorrow and that would be a massive statement of intent. The big disaster last year - RBR were around 15 seconds off the pace, so Honda are still on target to have turned up with a corker of an engine if they can get the laptimes in tomorrow, or even at a stretch by the third day.

All in all, Merc have likely just blown any chances of any challenge this year clean out of the water, RBR, Ferrari and the rest are all in the ball park with no apparent massive fck up, and ofcourse Honda we dont have any more idea yet, and ofcourse Lotus havent shown yet and FI might be in liquidation before they actually show
