He may have made "the greatest save since Gordan Banks against Pele" today, but hopefully tommrow his race is the worst "since England's qualification attempts for Euro 2008"... Take that James Allen, stop bringing football into F1

He'd actually make a better Football commentator than some of the crap ones out there like John Motson and Mark "Lawro" Lawrenson, and of course Sky Sport's Andy Gray and his red pen :D

But I hope Lineker and co. don't find themselves strolling into the BBC F1 studio next year.

Allen will end up on Football on ITV, I can see that happenin.

"Are You ready for Kick off? Ready? Are you ready? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

:lol::lol::lol:

All three previous Turkish Grand Prix's have been won from pole, Massa with the last two. Can't see any other winner really tomorrow. Hard to predict the order of the next three, but I hope Heikki has a good run (preferably into 3rd behind Kimi 8) )

Kimi continues to confuse us in qualifying. Didn't see the session today due to work, but is he expected to run a longer first stint?

mmm. So u puttin lewis 4th or lower? he doesnt usually go lower than his grid spot unless wierd things happen, like his wheel falls off :shock: Now Massa cud easily spin- though I grant you his track record round istanbul is good (without traction) but the boy is brave!! Kovi I doubt will have Lewis' race pace though he wont br far off. And Kimi??? depends whether he decides to attend :lol: Oh bring it on!!!!!

Kimi? It was the second best, FM had the best. But the gap was like 0.054

I think Kimi's heavier, certainly than the McLarens and probably Massa. For that reason, barring anything unforeseen, it'll be a Scuderia 1-2

Kimi maybe heavier, but I think he got a little gear box niggle.
Brundle was banging on about the ratio being set so 7th gear was being relied on more and more.
Anyone got a speedtrap listings?

On Speed they said that Ferrari were the only ones clocking 200mph, the rest was not even near that speed, which means they can afford to run less wing because their car is really good at mechanical and aero grip.

I don't know, a lot of people are predicting Massa to win. I think if he gets behind a car or 2 he won't pass them.

Heikki has tended to be pretty much on Lewis' pace in every race this season and he tends to carry a couple of laps' worth of extra fuel. I really do think that, provided nothing goes wrong for the lad, he will finish ahead of Lewis today. He might have enough fuel to jump Massa in the pits if he can stay close enough throughout the opening stint and then put in a couple of really fast laps when Massa pits for fuel and rubber.
