Basicaly in Australia, in the states of NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia radar detectors are illegal. However in Western Australia they are legal and in Queensland the sale of a Radar Detector is legal but using it is illegal. This means one living in Victoria for example could just buy one from Queensland or WA and use it illegally in Victoria. Anyway I don't agree that Radar Detectors should be illegal. It is bullpoo and unfair. In the US they are legal and in most European countries they are legal as well. Oh well I had a radar detector in Italy and used it throughout Europe. In Australia I still have one. *LOL*. I live in Victoria and bought a radar detector from Queensland where the sale is legal. *LOL*. Catch me of you can.
