Lewis' biggest and only threat is his own car, nothing else.

Oh...and :drink:

Lewis has a drinking problem....? :yikes:

Yes...

Yes he does. :(

Alonso stopped on track, complete electric failure from the look of it.

Grosjean gets a 20 place pen for taking 6th engine components. If he is unable to serve them all on the grid by quailfying on pole, he gets the following:

-5s penalty for up to 5 un-served places
-10s enalty for 6-10 un-served places,
-Drive-through penalty for 11-20 un-served places

mags is having a good session. Hes Third, About seven tenths off, so not such a big gap as this morning. Lewis is putting in some very good consistent long run laps.

I like how the Fonz keeps breaking down now ever since the news about Vettel leaving Redbull.

Crazy penalty for Grosjean. He would actually have been better changing all components and starting from the pitlane. He has absolutely no chance of points (unless there is a well timed safety car) with that penalty - starting last with most likely a drive through penalty as well!

I caught that and the only thing I could think of as to whey they'd not go the whole PU route was that they didn't want to spend the money since there's nothing really for them to gain by it.

Maybe they should do that for every engine penalty next year and not carry it onto the following race

I think it will be a let down as a race, esp after all the jibber jabber; just Hamilton pole-win or at worst come second, and take the title like he deserves. There hasn't been enough variation this season for us to expect anything else. There won't be inclement weather to disrupt things, there's no altitude issues to bring other cars into play. It's a track that plays to Merc's strengths and one Hamilton is good at. Potential mechanical issues is the only problem but they are always a problem, so you can't spend all day worrying about that. Well, you can, but it won't make any difference to the result.
