In normal circumstances this could have been the title decider, however, stupid double points effectively makes this a dead rubber for the WDC.

That said, the Bottas/Alonso/Vettel fight for P4 is fascinating. 6 points between all 3 with 2 races to go in 3 different cars.

Wait a bloody minute! Can someone clarify this Abu Dhabi double-points malarky for me cuz I read James Allen's post-Austin piece today and it doesn't gel with what I understood. Are the points for everyone who finishes in the top ten doubled or is it just P1? The way I understood it, it was only the person who won would get double their points (50 instead of 25). Am I off my rockers?

Thank you lads. It's the first time I've been accused of being off my rockers and took it as a welcomed assessment. I still hate this foolish system (DAMN YOU BERNIE!) but at least this new-found knowledge resets my comfort level with the many ways Lewis will win this title (outside of having to win both of the last two races). In the words of the great Vinny (another SNATCH reference), "Well, that's a load off me mind!"
