10 wins to 4 wins now. Surely Lewis can't lose the WDC after that many wins...

Nothing is surely. A DNF in Bahrain and a second place for Rosberg there is all it would take to lose the championship. But I'm sure there isn't anyone out there hoping for that, yes?

Nico: "once Lewis got by, I found my rhythm."

Lolz

Is it just me or does Nico sound more and more like a bimbo as the season draws to a close? That fast talking without any thought, "you know its great you know yeah Merc did a fantastic job but you know".... but of course this is the more cerebral driver in the team.

brundle just keeps at it - everytime Nico burns his tyres and fuel on a futile charge - brundle isn= here we go etc etc, when Lewis obviously uses his mirrors to match nico to the nearest 1/100th, silence or something like still a long way to go :rofl:

What a gimp, despite the evidence he will just keep on coming up with desperate straw grasping as if negative thoughts are gonna help Nico go faster when he cant manage his tyres as well as Lewis, reminds me of another gimp who keeps bringing up irrelevant and useless data

even on the last lap - Brundle 'Lewis has to be so carefull, those backmarkers are in a bvattle, could end in tears' the other guy 'erm thats actually rosberg Martin'

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

YES!!!!!!!!! LEWIS!!!!!! GET IN THERE!!!!!!!

only MS and Vetel have won more races in a season, and that was with their teammate shackled

Nico was much faster, he had the faster car, he was on pole, he is more cerebral

STILL GOT HIS ARSE HANDED TO HIM !!!!!!!! :drink::drink::drink::drink::drink:

Lauda said at the end that Lewis won because he managed the tyres better. Brundle just gets worse i think.

AMAZING reception for Lewis on the podium!!

Woop! Woop Woop! Liam!!

Nico is the faster driver, but cant manage his emotions, tyres or fuel or ers as well as Lewis

what could that possible mean????

Any psychorothrapists in the houese to help explain????

Let me explain, Lewis is SIGNIFICANTLY better in every way, he's improved massively year on year, can cope with the pressure and knows when to push.

Hes been through some tough years at McLaren after having a great car in his first two years so he knows the ups and downs.

This doesn't need to be explained to anyone with half a brain, but of course we have a couple of boosted up bimbos in this forum who will say Nico could've won if only the race had another extra 10 laps.

When Nico made his last stop and the gap was 4.3, Lewis immediately lost a second and kept losing till it came down to 2.5 and then it stayed there. I was a little concerned but wondered if he was showing some intelligence again to cool his tyres down for one lap since he pitted earlier....and it seems that's exactly what he did. No one's thinking more on their feet than Lewis now.

Lewis can turn the revs down and follow Nico home in 2nd place for the last two races now with peace of mind.....if he wants to.

Yeah, but Lewis could win in brazil while nico DNFs and Nico could still take it in Abu Dhabi.

Exactly this. There is no rest in the battle

Yeah Brundle at the end was like do you really think Lewis can win with Abu Dubble coming up, its still all to play for, down to the wire blah blah

Not once explaining that Nico has to win the rest of the races AND hope Lewis has some bad liuck or issues - its out of Nicos hands, even if he does the best he can

yet Brundle doesnt think thats a factor worth mentioning when saying 'do you think he can win'

Just like that other gimp, will cling on to stuff thats discredited without an oucne of shame

I mean he now has the luxury to relax the machinery for the next two races (especially since 2nd is pretty much ensured if you're a Merc driver) and its not a luxury for Nico.

Would Nico even want to win the WDC now.....lol I wonder what would happen to the sport if Nico did get it in Abu Dhabi. 10 wins vs.....5? Lol

I too was a little worried because he sat with Rosberg under a second for 10 or so laps then suddenly lost half a second in the first sector and within 3 laps was 2.5 seconds behind then like you say it just stopped he kept it at 2.5 seconds and he started saving fuel.

Turned up the heat and initiated hammertime and boom was right on the back of Rosberg within 2 laps, had an attempt on passing but was slightly too far back then had the next lap he wasn't close enough then the third lap he did one seriously good overtake, perfectly placed car, perfect braking and most importantly it was fair.

Some fantastic driving today from Riccardo and Hamilton.

Here we go Jenson blames the car - 'we are not as fast as the Torro Rosso, oh yeah Mag finished 4 places ahead of me and in front of a Torro Rosso, but its all the car

Just leave already, oh no apparently Honda want him and he is very popular in Japan, Ron loves him as well and is going to double his salary to avoid losing him to a battle between Merc and RBR to sign him for 2015

Yep, i know Lewis has a fairly comfortable cushion, just saying no matter what happens in the next race it will come down to the last race. It'd be pretty sickening to see 5 wins beating 10 (or even 11)

Old washed out :duckie:s never change.

Merc will retire both cars in Abu with unreliability, never ever just one

I am willing to bet any amount with anyone on this

And both drivers will agree before the race

anyone who thinks otherwise i think doesnt understand that F1 is a marketing and PR business before a fair sporting even between 2 employees. But its ok for some to keep something to look forward to especially after the suffering they received as Lewis won the 10 races
