reminds me of Hammer messing with spanks :hehe:

Awesome post cookin, I cracked up, but don't you think Hammer would run a little faster after my spanking him

:hehe: Yes, straight to my little safehouse somewhere nearby and ask for my money from fellow like-minded idiots in there.

Who is Laurie?

Really good read in F1Fanatic about the decrying of the so called engine "freeze" that I've been so vociferous in declaring an orchestrated sham by Renault and Ferrari.

That was a very revealing article! So Renault and Ferrari can change loads of stuff. Far more that that 48% figure suggests. M&M man and Horner have been telling porkies, and people have been falling for it.

I think the trouble is that they need to make sure the parts work and not just be able to change them.

When the rules were agreed, no one would have agreed to not being able to change the engine and catch up if 1 of them was way ahead. Its no surprise that its the ones who are behind that now change their tune. Their PR campaign has been commendable, but only the sheep have been stirred up with indignation at the 'unfairness'
No PR or public indignation has made an iota of difference, things have continued exactly within the rules. When the freeze parameters are changed legally through the correct and agreed procedure, Merc will already be so far ahead that they wouldnt even have to increase their spending to keep their advantage. So the others will spend themselves silly for the same end net result. Would be smarter to target the next major reg change and work harder next time

I'm not sure I follow you Jabber. What's stopping them from testing the planned changes for the entirety of this year on a bench? Do you mean as in bolted to an F1 car this year so they can be sure it works next year?

Or even using a heavily disguised Laferrari mule at a private test track...err hold on thats against the rules

Best laugh for me all day. Now lets see who would be your fellow like-minded idiots?

Come now Spanky, there's a lot of meat in the article you can discuss. Can we as a forum that's relatively interested in the substance stop calling each other names and discuss the relevant facts?
