I thought this was interesting. Dieter Mateschitz who owns Red Bull racing, proposed that Formula 1 teams should be able to run 4 cars. I dont know about you but its enough money as it is to run a 2 car team. With 4 cars per team, that would be like the Le Mans series! But I doubt the FIA will even consider passing this.

Red Bull magnate Dietrich Mateschitz has proposed that each Formula One team be allowed to field four cars per grand prix in the near future.

The Austrian billionaire has openly put his 50 per cent share in junior outfit Toro Rosso up for sale, as Formula One prepares to no longer condone 'customer cars' from 2010.

But in an effort to maintain the same number of Red Bull branded cars on the grid, Mateschitz told an Austrian newspaper that an alternative would be to simply allow four RBRs to be entered at each race.

"My proposal is to allow four cars per team," he said.

"If the regulations mean Toro Rosso can no longer utilise Red Bull technologies, then it makes no sense," he is quoted as saying by Salzburger Nachrichten.

"We can not build a second Milton Keynes in Faenza," Mateschitz added

To run 4 cars wouldn't just double the costs since there would be a lot of synergies. Plus not everybody would HAVE to run 4 cars. Maybe it should say UP to 4 cars, i.e., 3 cars could also be an option.
At any rate, it would be quite crammed in the pits

I thought it was interesting about running 4 cars, but I dont like the idea mainly because 4 Ferraris in the first 4 positions would be.... well just not fun to watch!!

I'll go with 'miracle multitasker' although other's may not agree but that's thier issue and not mine!

Umm not really mike, I try my best not to whine and complain if my team doesnt perform. I mean after all this is racing isnt it? Not everything goes as planned
