I wish for:
1) Proper health into my 50s and then die suddenly
2) Get to own a Lambo for at least 2 years (before disposing it)
3) Pick up chicks in that Lambo on a weekly basis (and not having to bring them home)

Here's hoping you don't have to wait until you're in your 50s to get the Lamborghini... or the girls!! :whip:

Yeah I posted that in the main thread after the race I believe.

Ive just done a quick calc...

Current gap - 10 points

Hamilton dominates the next three races, With Nico scoring two 2nd places and a DNF

+7 +7 +25

= 49 Point gap

Hamilton then DNFs Abu Duabi and Nico wins, Winning 50 points and winning the championship by a point

 its scarily feasable

Just goes to demonstrate how this championship is totally out of either drivers control

This season has been completely dictated by DNFs. From the beginning of the year because of the strength of the car. No matter how you slice it, the WDC will go down to the final race. If either of the two drivers get a DNF while the other wins it, they will win the WDC.

The only exception would be another Nico DNF, and I certainly don't want that.

Lewis just needs to finish ahead of Nico twice out of the next three races and he's cool for Abu Dhabi....no rain fo sho and a car which can come 2nd almost by default. Even if he takes penalties there and makes sure the car finishes the race.
#420216
Even still, a DNF in Abu Dhabi and he's done if Rosberg finishes 1st.

OH I JUST THOUGHT OF A GREAT SCENARIO! Mercedes order Nico to fall back and let whomever is behind win the race. :yikes:
Someone would have to make a serious game of "is it worth it" having to explain how a driver winning five races, defeats a driving winning 11 races. Jeebus there's a ton of drama still possible this year, even with the Mercedes domination! I don't remember anything this fun during the Red Bull years.

Law of probabilities....so far he's not scored points due to technical DNFs only in Melbourne. Theoretically, the car COULD've made it in Canada if not for that weird MGU/brakes issue, and in Spa he was KO'ed.

The car seems to hold up well in races generally. I don't fear reliability issues to that extent, it has to be desperately bad luck for Lewis to have only his 2nd lightning strike after Melbourne....in the last race.

Personally Lewis could have got points at Spa had he not driven back to the pits so fast. Coming up to Blanchimont the tyre started to flap and flail but he kept his foot in and literally destroyed any chance he had of points with it. Maybe lose 10 seconds driving back slowly and have a competitive car instead of saving 10 seconds and having a car that's 2 seconds a lap slower than where it should be.

Or maybe the damage was done when he drove into the gravel trying to save it and came out over the curb as soon as he suffered the slice. The world will never know.

I'm sure the preferred outcome for all would have been that his teammate hadn't chosen to prove a point.
