Todt is a member of the FIA world motorsport council, who do you think his bum buddys will vote for come election time

And remember that there is also an inbuilt Ferrari bias. Once again, another coincidence: Ferrari just happen to have more representatives in the Council than any other team and there is nothing to be worried about.

Ferrari have been in F1 since the first official race, it's both fair and natural they have more representatives.

How many other teams have been around for so long? None.

McLaren don't even make their own engines, they are just a bunch of glorified mechanics...

Another laughathon from you DeM[an]uRe? Here's Ferrari-FIA:

Image UHM - FERRARI - and its been the same since day one.
A great acheivement I would think.

Was that considered a lamby response

But I don't agree that Ferrari should have more representation than all the others.

Absolutely, thats what Ron was, a grease monkey, a mechanic, he worked in the pits on race cars, all his life it's just been about race cars.
Now let me think, what did Domenicali do? Oh yes, he was a pen pusher, an administrator. A souless suit in an office.
Wonder which one I'd pick to run an F1 team?

I think DeMuRe is flattering to deceive here. He would have us all believe Ferrari is a true privateer team, despite being bankrolled by FIAT.

Dennis makes clear it has nothing to do with him
Ron Dennis has vehemently denied suggestions that he could be the unknown figure behind the covert investigation that triggered the Max Mosley umpalumpa scandal.

Mosley, who faces a confidence vote in his FIA Presidency next month, recently openly questioned the origin of the News of the World revelations.

He wrote in a letter to FIA affiliates in April that he had been pursued not by the tabloid newspaper, but for "reasons and clients as yet unknown."

The scandal aroused suspicions that Dennis may have ordered the investigation into Mosley's private life, in retaliation for the devastating 'spy scandal' and penalties of 2007.

"I categorically deny that I have anything to do with the News of the World's investigation into Mr Mosley," Dennis, chairman of the McLaren Group, told the Times.

He also denied that 'anyone' connected with his company, or anyone acting on his behalf, had anything to do with the revelations.

Dennis has written to Czech Automobile Association chief Radovan Novak, who recently intimated on Prague radio that the spy and umpalumpa scandals may share Dennis as the common link, for a clarification of his remarks.

Dennis confirmed that he is looking for Novak, a close ally of Mosley's, to "withdraw or correct" his statements.

It emerged just this week that Mosley has engaged an expert detective agency, Quest, to identify the source of the News of the World story.

Max just doesnt get it... even if he was pursued by clients as yet unknown they still didnt make him stick his sausage in did they! ich heil Max.... ich heil

I was just about to post the story and say the same thing. Regardless of how the evidence was obtained, he was still unmistakably caught on camera having a Nazi-themed orgy with several hookers. Sure, Mosley's "evidence" gathering against Mosley was inadmissible and it still counted. The man is a chancer.

They still do everything themselves and they have been in F1 since the first race.

I know it upsets most of you but deal with it...

FIAT may own the majority stake in Ferrari but Ferrari is still as it was from day one, building road car's to bankroll their F1 team. Ferrari and Renault are the only privateer team's left in F1 as everything from engine to chassis is done inhouse, that's what 'privateer' mean's to me no matter who the majority shareholder is.

Renault? you mean Benetton which was originally Tryrall? sorry to say they dont build their engines in the English factory the cars are designed and built, engines come from France!

and Privateer is someone without financial backing from big industry players. Ferrari once was that, not anymore. Im under no illusions that McLaren is a privateer team!

The lambs are just trying to trivialize what Ferrari has achieved from day one, it makes them feel better.
Ferrari is still building road cars & F1 cars basically the same way Enzo envisaged it. And it seems they are doing a damn good job at both.
Yes these days FIAT is bankrolling the operation & the lambs once again seem to think that this is something to be ashamed of or that it demeans all that Ferrari is.
Yes they should be ashamed of themselves after all the "garagista" (as Enzo would say) are still going down to the local Automart to purchase engines and the like.

Enzo can speak for himself
Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines.

The Ferrari is a dream - people dream of owning this special vehicle and for most people it will remain a dream apart from for those lucky few.

The client is not always right.

To all the lambs out there

Ok so maybe my wording was wrong assuming the 'in house' thing but the Renault is still a Renault chassis and a Renault engine, that was my meaning.

I believe you get the jist of my meaning though right? In these day's of the great cost of F1 a TRUE privateer team no longer remain's my reference's lie's in a car that has the same chassis and engine name, that's all I was meaning  .
