Andrea De Cesaris has unfortunately died today following a motorcycle crash. He died at 55 years of age. RIP De Cesaris

Yea I liked him, and used to mix him up with de Angelis as a youngster, I use to think de Cesaris was the dashing one who crashed a lot but was around and de Angelis was the one who died, these names are interlinked with my card collection and wall posters and model cars.

Oh no, this really saddens me. :-(

He was one of my absolute favourite drivers when I was younger - really charismatic, big personality, and a balls to the wall racing driver. RIP.

Favourite racing series: F1, Indycar, NASCAR, GP2, F3, Formula E, Trophee Andros, DTM, WTCC, BTCC, World Endurance... etc. etc.

Is he still the driver who has entered the most races without actually winning one?

R.I.P Andrea and although it was before my time thanks for being a great servant to F1. I've seen some videos of him and he was always entertaining.

What a crap weekend this has been in all honesty
