2 tenths is a big gap, if its a dry race Rosberg is in control.

Hopefully we get a race tomorrow and not just a stupid Safety Car drive around.

2 tenths is not representative as Lewis messed up the whole lap despite a cracking sector time. No need to worry about his pace. As long as there is actual racing without a safety car the rain etc is statistically much better for Lewis than Nico this season. Ni8co has had no answers for Lewis in wet or changeable conditions. I would be praying for dry weather if I was Nico - however that would mean more chance of Lewis attacking him on track and you can overtake here

I'm with you bro. Even though lewis messed up the whole lap, and other individual sectors on different laps all weekend, it's still not indicative of his pace or ability to put everything together for the grand prix. easy victory for him tomorrow for sure :D

Yeah it was more like a minimum of 0.3 secs through the race. You called that one spot on

Some good overtaking today in those difficult conditions. Lewis , just stunning :cloud9: 8 to 4 wins now in favour of Hamilton. Rosberg seems unable to better him in race conditions when they go wheel to wheel.
Appalling result for Ferrari. Williams made hay.

The Bulls looked pretty neat today.

I have to say Button did well today. When he first went onto inters I thought, here we go......do the opposites to the pack and maybe it will be called 'inspired' and so it was. There after he drove a good race and Mag had a bad day at the office. I still think Jens is out though.

I'm hearing Jules couldn't go in the helicopter to hospital because it couldn't fly in the conditions, so he had to go by ambulance and was/ is unconscious I believe.

I was surprised when Sutil crashed and there was no sign of an SC, although I dreaded an appearance. But in torrential conditions, a tractor is out and at a high speed 130R corner, that's textbook scenario for an SC to be deployed.

Bloody idiot watches on like he's brain dead when drivers are screaming to race, but keeps the track green when a car has crashed out at a dangerous area or spun on a blind corner (Hockenheim).

That guy has really lost the plot.

Same at Hokenheim. In fact that was worse! It was on the track with Marshall's on the track!! Sutil was the one in both situations. But it's beyond me why they wouldn't start the race but don't deploy the car in dangerous situations.

As I mentioned on chat...

It's in the wet, on a track that's getting wetter and wetter, cars are starting to aquaplain, this track is known for rivers abs aquaplaining, it's at the end of a long and fast straight, it was getting dark, they knew already that it's bad from the start of the race and also last time it was wet here.

A safety car was obvious!

It does seem mad to make a fuss of the conditions at the start and start under SC but not to call it out when a car has gone off in a spot easy to go off at. The whole start etc was a complete farce, no wonder the casual
public are turning off in droves

The SC wasn't deployed at Hokenheim to allow the German driver to win. When you cut corners on safety for various reasons, this kind of thing happens.

In all fairness I didn't expect the SC when Sutil crashed at it looked like they could've cleared in under double waved yellows. The onus is on the pitwall to inform their respective drivers to slow down. Like driving on a motorway, a broken down car is an easy distraction and one of the biggest causes of accidents.

Thoughts with Bianchi though, not sure what went on there.

Ferrari's consecutive points record comes to an end.

And Williams races away to help their charge for 3rd.

I thought they could not race without a medical helicopter (can not remember what race that was delayed because it) so how come today the race was going on when the safety chopper could not fly
