What that mutt Charlie needs to understand is these cars need to go at full racing speed to help clear up most of the water. People who lose control, lose control. I mean COME ON!!! This is racing, none of these guys are paid big sums to play with their barbie dolls in the cockpits.

I'm confused; red flag called on lap 2; but because they all went into the pitlane; it triggered the third lap, so half points can be awarded?

What I really can't understand is that they knew this would happen, they knew how bad it would be, yet they failed to counter this problem when any normal brained spanner would seek a solution to get some racing done. Poor performance from the Japanese officials

Plus I can understand races like Canada where its a one off but usually when F1 arrives at Japan, its usually typhoon season. What's the logical solution to this? Change the pigging date...

It seems incredibly stupid from the FiA starting the race at this time, it should have been moved to an earlier time

Actually the FIA did ask the Japanese promoters if they'd like to start the race early; but they wanted to wait to allow all the fans to arrive.

It's not racing conditions, it has to have two laps without the safety car in order for half points to become available
