Why was Rosberg asking his team about tyres ? And questioning why they hadn't told him to go slower? That's performance info. Surely Rosberg is bright enough to realise he's against the rules here? Ah but it's probably ok for Nico to do it.

Ferrari have stepped it up, Kimi is doing great. Nico is slower than I expected, maybe I was wrong about him having it under control.

Lewis' onboard the car looked like it was sliding a lot in the slow corners.

Also if it's like this in Q3 Lewis would be looking good for championship points too.

Ferraris performance points to them having a weaker engine and ok aero but a solid chassis in mechanical grip

Nico seems to have not got things as under control as his dumber teammate, the fact he had to go out again with a new set of tyres to take advantage of track evolution

The mercs seem to handle very differently. Lewis is fighting it and Nico is just driving with hardly any correction.

Nico probably used that as a sighter lap for Q3. Ferrari looking strong and should be a worry off the grid tomorrow.
