I used to read it, Edited by Nigel Mansell, some of the best no bullsh!t articles I've ever read, same it didn't catch on. Anyway, it was around right at the height of the Max and Ron battle. Autosport is very Ron Dennis friendly so this was an opportunity to read articles from the other side of the fence, it had an article on Ron Dennis and his peers came out and blagged on him, he was caught cheating as a young mechanic.

Would you care to elaborate (or embellish) this for those who are unsure where to find this article you of which you speak.

It's not online, it was published at a time when the fight between Max and Ron was at it's worst. Ron had just said something about Max's integrity in the press and Max responded with a big write up featuring all the dirt on Ron Dennis. There was more, I just can't remember it.

Really sad the magazine is no longer being printed, Neweygate, where he tried to leave McLaren for Jaguar, they had an 8 page write up detailing every event, as it happened. Nicki Lauder placed a phone call to Ron Dennis' mobile phone warning him that Newey was signing for Jaguar, which allowed Ron to react in time, before Newey's deal was cast in stone. Lauder wanted to see Bobby Rahal fail, so he ruined the Newey deal.

The insight was awesome, you just don't get that with Autosport, commonly known by the pitlane as "The Comic Book"...

todt would have been a good choice had he not been Ferrari team principal. I don't think that the FIA is that stupid to elect a man that will be so clearly in the camp of one team. Although they did elect max...

And remember that there is also an inbuilt Ferrari bias. Once again, another coincidence: Ferrari just happen to have more representatives in the Council than any other team and there is nothing to be worried about.

Ferrari have been in F1 since the first official race, it's both fair and natural they have more representatives.

How many other teams have been around for so long? None.
