I can't believe they're actually still being used! With all the satellite stuff I'd think their era had come and gone.

Having owned Samsung smartphones for the past four years; I am planning on moving away from the brand after hearing that the latest flagship phones, the S5 and Note 3 will be region locked; at least in the US. I will be moving to open source; I really want a OnePlus One; it's runs CyanogenMod (zero bloat) out of the box, comes with upto 64GB of onboard storage; and the price; $299 for the 16GB model and $349 for the 64GB model; unlocked and region free.

Schocking... aluminum bends? :yikes: This is pretty silly, yes aluminum bends and if you notice where he bent it it's at the weakest structural point. It was pretty interesting that nothing seemed to happen to the screen. I guess you could just as easily bend it back the other way.

Aluminum = Bends
Plastic = Breaks

Pick your poison.

I did expect the screen to shatter to be honest.

I am suprised that Apple would have released the phone with this sort of issue. It is not so much the one off bend but what damage will continual bending and straightening that 2 years of use will cause to the internal working of the phone.
