They interviewd Button (no problem with Button) then went to the press conference to hear only from (3rd place) Hamilton missing out Kimi and Massa completely.

The highlights are on just now, maybe they'll show the full thing in that.

yeah if there's one issue I have with ITV, it's their routinely pathetic coverage of the post-race press conference.

I predicted they'd skip the Ferraris, and lo and behold.

A complete disgrace.

Wow that sucks about skipping Kimi and Massa. You missed out too because Massa made Kimi laugh when they thought they werent on camera, and I've never seen Kimi laugh like that. :D

I like the press conference and always get annoyed when they cut it. I think sometimes its if the race has lasted longer-there were two safety car periods, and the programme is only scheduled for so long. If they had to choose only one person to speak to a British audience of course they'll choose Lewis over Kimi. You cant understand Kimi half the time either. I bet in Italy or Finland it would be different, they'd show Kimi if they had to chose only one.

Yeah I get a bit miffed at times when they cut the conference, one time I wanted to see Heikki talk and they just cut him

ITV have adverts to show because that is how they make money if they only have time to show one person in the press conference then i expect them to be showing lewis instead of the winner :?. Only 11 months till the bbc take over :D

ITV are nothing short of a disgrace. They started off their coverage reasonably well, save annoying the adverts, but in the last couple of years things have been on the slippery slope: they have no studio, no Tony Jardine, bugger all analysis and no press conferences (save when Hamilton is going to feature, after all, he is the only one in the race  ), and James Allen.

they might as well milk as much adverts as they can out of the sport before it goes to the bbc. Money is the most important thing to them rather than the quality of the programming

I like L.H. but I agree, it wasn't even as if they were short of time, they spent a lot of time waffling, and to show only LH at the driver briefing was appauling. Mind you, in the early laps the Spanish director spent an awful lot of time following F.A.
I think that each TV co should have its own directors who can select the camera shot that they want to suit their own market. Must be possible with today's technology mustn't it?

What I got was Just Kimi. They cut off just as he was asked about the wind. No time for 2nd and 3rd. If they have to cut stuff, it should be the podium ceremony and useless national anthems.

well i didnt even get the post race press conference it went straight to IPL cricket!

Is the show over there still presented by Darrell Eastlake and Alan Jones? Probably not, seeing as it was the '98 and '99 seasons that I have with Australian coverage, but I remember that those were decent shows. You got most press conferences, though not much pre-race build-up. Their "In the Pits" section was quite cool, too.

na those were the days when channel 9 had the F1 rights, Channel 10 has the rights now.

We get delayed telecasts on sunday nights and we never get live coverage unless its a North American race where its live at around 4am we usually get the press conference but the IPl coverage is the reason they cut it off. Pre race build up is non existant its pretty much starting with the warm up lap.

qualifying is replayed late Saturday night Sunday morning.

have you downloaded Aussi coverage denthul? ive downloaded ITV and SpeedTV coverage they both Kill Australian F1 coverage.
