Amongst the hundreds of "driving experiences" you can get these days, you can even drive F1 cars in the UK, but for nearly £2,000. The ex-F1 team AGS though offer a really good sounding experience for much less at the Circuit Du Var near St Tropez. The "Hi-Tech course" is less than £1,500, and it allows you to race either an ex Prost, Jordan or Arrows car using a Ford-Cosworth DFR V8.

If anybody's interested and would be willing to, we could get a few numbers of us together, go as a group and if we all chipped in something we could save a bit of money. I like the sound of the "Hi-Tech" course. :)

Fees are here ttp://www.agsformule1.com/download/2610 ... BINDIV.pdf

You can also do the courses at Paul Ricard but it is much more expensive.

Sweet, I'd love to take part in that. Though I think some members would have different preferences (in reference to manual and semi-automatic gearbox choices, as well as the car). But if enough people were willing to join in and it was at a time when I could afford it (I start work at the beginning of next month, though my wage won't be all that impressive to begin with :P ) then I would love to join you. :)
