Funny how all those that didn't speak up when MS was demonised for his unsporting and un British ways, and probably decry foreign footballers for diving, and probably didn't stick up nelsinho when he agreed to crash

Well all of a sudden it's an admirable skill to resort to cheating, why it proves you are as great as MS who is now the last word on sporting hunger

Did Fangio cheat? Hill senior (or junior), Villeneuve, Clarke?

No they were not great because they didn't cheat, the real champs have to show willingness to crash someone out or park the car but Alonso probably doesn't count just because

I don't think it is serious fans supporting Nico. I haven't seen any of that. It's more probably your common or garden troll who will easily hate things they don't care about.
You just have to filter them out. Don't even let them attempt to define anything meaningful over the incident. Unless it's only the voices in your head, of course, then carry on.

Jab do you seriously expect support for a guy who has just admitted he cheated? That takes support threads into the realms of the ridiculous!

Well you certainly sound more and more like a Rosberg fan after Spa.

I am not a fan of his in paticularly.

Let's take all the emotion out of who each driver is.

A driver made a bit of a clumsy move and looses part of his front wing and ruined his race, unfortunately he caused the other driver to get a puncture. How many times have we seen this in F1? What if they had just clattered wheels and been on there way? Did the driver intentionally drive into the other car wanting to put him out of the race? No, he said he was keeping his line.

What if the drivers where reversed? I am sure many people would be crowing about a daring pass around the outside that went wrong. Then the rest of the damage would of been "oh well that is racing"

A driver decided to play 'move or we crash' without the racecraft to understand that when the big boys do it, they are alongside and oncourse to pass if the other driver does move over. Maybe you missed the part where Nico was slowing and not gaining on the inside or maybe we need some complex diagrams to explain about racing lines in left right and straight parts of a track. Maybe it doesnt matter as there must be some defence for Nico, we just have to speak up

Yeah we are all shaking with fear at how much logic a 4 digit IQ will bring to bear on the issues

Wow can you imagine leading the world championship and not being a big boy! maybe that means all the other drivers must be in nappies!

So I think that's the difference, some people see it as a clumsy move. I see it as deliberate. Monaco was deliberate. But it's convenient to say let's give him the benefit of the doubt, or Lewis fans are whiners, or it was a "racing incident" but let's not call it what it was.

Just like Nico's video blog, let's not talk about such things in public. I'd rather not discuss what my opinion is, or say openly what my side of the story is.

The guy has more dirt than talent, that's for sure. He's still going to lose the WDC. Enjoy.

Lewis may have wasted his opportunities in Qualifying, but that was all swept away five seconds into the race after Hamilton got an immaculate launch away from the line and took the lead.
What happened after that is well documented, but Rosberg shaped to make an overtaking move that only the very best can pull off, and although he's brilliant at qualifying, moving past people on track is not one of his strengths (i.e. Vergne/Hungary). He wasn't even close.
Afterwards, in the Mercedes debrief, he said he left his car there to 'prove a point', presumably because he always comes off worst in mano a mano combat with Lewis. But in reality he wasn't remotely close enough to expect any car in front to allow him width through that turn.
