Rosberg is desperate, its just a matter of time before he pays

Yeah we keep saying its a matter of time, but all we get is more and more sh!t for Hamilton and we don't have many races left.

How is a penalty a "gift horse"?

Because it was the very lightest penalty possible for what was a serious and deliberate breach of the rules that put multiple people directly in danger. I was astounded that it was only a 5 sec stop-go. A drive through would have been much more appropriate.

You'll have to forgive me; but, I haven't had much luck with a feed, this morning!!
What did he do to put others in danger?

Having half a dozen mechanics on the race track as cars are about to start flooding past puts both the drivers and the mechanics in real danger. Make no mistake - that's a HUGE no-no in any race series. I've seen somebody seriously injured in karting under similar circumstances, I hate to think of the result of a F1 car hitting a mechanic in similar circumstances. Perhaps a Kevin Ward Jr scenario which would be horrific.

FIArrari at work as usual. What a joke of a penalty. Pits + 5 seconds...lol.

I remember JPM left on the stand on the grid in this same track, the guy had to start last.

Thanks for the info!! Was that because of his battery?
Shouldn't he have gone back to the pits?

The last car hadn't passed Alonso so he was allowed to keep his grid slot. Had he dropped behind Ericsson he would have to start last.

The rules is all mechanics must clear the race track 15 seconds before they clear out. With the increased safety kick the FiA has been on about unsafe releases, and put lane safety... It's a joke. Doesn't matter, it doesn't mean squat in the big picture.

Which Nico will show up on the podium, the apologist or the blamer? It always works out well for him, but I guess it's the ol' I'd rather be lucky than good.

Cheap points from Rosberg, another 18 points after taking his rival out...

Gets off scot free of course. Parking in Monaco, cutting across Lewis at the start in Canada, and now this. How frustrating.
