So many hesitations at key moments, IMO things are far from comfortable at Merc at the moment. And Lewis keeps talking about paying back his family/fans support.

I wouldn't read too much sinister into that interview. It's Lewis weighing his words very carefully because everything he says gets misquoted or twisted. He is always thankful and considerate of his fans, always mentions them. His most down moment of the year was Silverstone when he made that wrong decision in quali, and it was because he felt more than anything that he'd let his fans down.

On the team order /driver most wanted to win, all we can do is take Mercedes at their word when they say they don't mind who wins. They're getting loads of stick about it on their Merc Facebook page, even on the Lewis and Nico pages. They were seriously damaged by that team order call, so let's hope it was just an error on their part.

I think they realised they made a mistake, as I remember post race they were defending Lewis' decision to not let Nico past. If they disagreed with Lewis I doubt they would have publicly defended him.

Rosberg ahead by 1/10th in fp1, Alonso not far off them with button in 4th, Hamilton testing the limits of ou rouge, Williams off the pace and vettel with gearshift problems.
