What are your picks for Spain?

1-2 for Ferrari (unless they mistake or have tech problem). 3, Anyone else can do it, but maybe FA or one of BMWs. I am afraid McLaren will have mediocre race - hope I'm wrong.

1 Kimi
2 Lewis
3 Kubica
4 Kovi
5 Alonso
Not sure the renault will have race pace yet and I think Masa will spin. I agree with 7Up this track is usually super boring after the first couple of corners. (GP2 was pretty good though but they are able to overtake)

It will be another bore-fest as it always is at Catalunya. :(

You say every F1 race is a bore-fest when Williams doesnt do well. If it depresses you that much, dont bother watching F1 then.

No, this track in particular is ALWAYS boring, the only exciting races at this track were 1991, 1992 and 1996, all when the weather played a part. There were a couple of boring races last year when Williams did well - Turkey especially - Fuji was a great race and neither Williams finished. You see?

lol ur right, Catalunya is crap, unless it rains :P

Indeed, hopefully that will change though next year when overtaking becomes easier. But even with slicks and wide cars this race wasn't anything special in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1997 apart from Schumacher getting stuck in 5th gear and Damon Hill winning, Johnny Herbert's rear jack getting stuck in the back of his car and Murray Walker constantly saying "Frentzen is REALLY eating his tyres!!".

I think that stupid chicane before the final turn is absolutely pointless.

It hasn't made any difference either, infact it's ruined one of the only decent corners on the track. It might make a bit of difference next year, but we can only speculate and it might not even accumulate.

Couldnt agree with you more, but why did they even put it there in the first place? Slowing the cars down is a pathetic reason for it, if thats the case.

What, suddenly everyone is on the Alsonso bandwagon?? Renault wanted P1 in Spain to get the crowd wild for Alonso and they set his car to run on fume, unfortuntely you don't win running on fume, he will be lucky to be in the top 6, the Renualt is still a crappy car, it did not transfered into a winner in 3 weeks.

Apparently it was put there to slow the cars down in the hope that they'd get bunched together and overtake down the main straight. Now that's pathetic, you shouldn't have to go and drastically perform surgery on a certain corner just so that it encourages more overtaking down the next straight. Whose idea was that? I'm looking in the direction of a certain Mr Tilke...
