Is this a Support thread? Or can we submit constructive criticism?

I personally think the thread should be called the 'Philo and Clyde Support Thread'.

I'll leave you to decide who is who.

A bit harsh ..... on hairy primates :hehe:

I was more referring to the love between the two of you. I would never call either of you a hairy primate. honest. This is a support thread after all.

I think we should respect these types of threads going forward and allow only the namesakes to duke it out, unperturbed by the peanut gallery.

Well the What's Burning?/LRW threads, so I can bitch about you? would be a bit one sided, but yes.

You know after a couple of beers it'll just turn into a lovefest.

Duking with sagi is a futile exercise as she always ""wins"" on the sagi show. However if she agrees I am willing to school her once in a while about the finer details of F1

Having said that, this year Hamilton's accomplishments have far surpassed those of previous F1 seasons.

No they haven't, he has already won a WDC
Although he has become a stronger driver, with each season, how much of this year's unprecedented success is attributable to the Mercedes car he's got under him?

See above
Is there any way to separate the success of a specific driver from a specific car in a specific season?

Yes by seeing how well they compare with a wdc teammate allowed to race :wavey:

So we have answers for lewis who has twice beaten the reigning world champion in the same car

P.s. It's maybe safer to have a pop at his gf sagi

This thread is just plain embarrassing to us as a group should any unsuspecting prospective new member have a look at what goes on on the forum. It should be locked, burned, and never spoken of again...

There is a Japanese held view of the world know as Wabi-sabi. It looks at a world, (it originates in design) full of imperfection as being infinitely more interesting than it would were everything to be orderly, flawless or perfect.

...I think it would of be seen in the light hearted banter that's it's intended.

But good job ruining that.
