My hat goes off to Niki Lauda for saying ‘no team orders’. That’s what has kept the interest alive, regardless of whether they’re dominating or not. We’ve seen some epic racing between the two of them. I have a tendency to root a little bit more for Lewis, mainly because of the bad luck he’s had mechanically. When anything happens, it happens to his car and yet he has kept his chin up. And look at the performances he’s had: starting from the pits in Hungary - it was fabulous to see [his drive]. How could you not root for him? He never gave up; he kept his attitude on a positive level. It could have been a total disaster if he’d had his chin down and been beaten mentally, but he’s shown a lot of character this season and if he wins the championship it will be really, really well deserved.

Lewis Hamilton polarises fans like no other before him. Emotions aroused by him go from pure hatred to complete adulation. In the following article the author is looking at why this is the case. What is it specifically about Lewis Hamilton? This is a two part article, the rest is published tomorrow. Today he looks at

1) Lewis The Black Man in a Historically White Sport and

2) Lewis the celebrity.

Tomorrow he takes two different aspects.
A very good read! It's on thejudge13 's site but not written by him. He allows guest authors, fans, to write.

Uh oh, this is not going to go down too well with some membership of this site :gonnagetit::shtstorm::hooli-popcorn:

As most people know, the shoe doesn't fit so well when it's on the other foot.
For example, no opinion gets past the nose of """""""""some""""""""" Hamilton fans,
as innocently as it may be intended, without a lengthy over-the-top diatribe of
facts and figures "proving" how racist/biased/unfounded it is!

One has to be careful with introducing posts from certain sites on here. Afterall many here refuse to read anything at all on certain 'irreverent' sites, claiming it to be ""biased"" about ONE team in particular. And a site that has the following as a tag line:
There are no agenda’s behind the articles and certainly no censorship from corporate interests.

its hard to see how the articles could fit into a thread where the censorship of facts that are ""upsetting"" to self appointed ""editors"" is carried out without a sense of irony whilst blatant lies motivated by a corporate agenda remain in public view and uncorroborated despite several requests

mind you, this is the Lewis thread so we should be safe, carry on RC, maybe your post will not be deleted

Oh mentally I'm rock solid! Unless a spider comes, then it's...... :spaz::gone:

spiders are nice with garlic and salt, but not as crunchy as half witted Lewis 'refuseniks' served up on toast in the second half of 2014 :hehe:

I love you RC :cloud9:

even more than Lewis :hehe:

I loved her first.

I'd even start a 'Racechick 44 Support" thread.
