When I gave a carefully considered and comprehensive opinion about coups and clear outs, I was called a kicker of the downtrodden, and told not to be negative and to be "supportive""
When I spoke about younger family members with the ear of the board and a small stake I was gagged and demonised (ok I'm now jokin)

Anyway how silly would it have been to carry through the idea to ban criticism and factual data about Ferrari and have only nice things said on ""The Ferrari"" thread, only for big news to break and we scramble off to other sites to see what f1 fans have been thinking about the whole thing

Luckily the irrational butthurt modding was over come by the common sense reality modding on most sites

You're never going to get an "I'm sorry you were right" from Spanky et al if you keep taunting that way. :nono:

i think we can put everything behind us now and wish Ferrari well going forward as they seem to have finally changed in many ways

That's better. You've single handedly dismantled McLaren and now Ferrari... are you happy? :hehe:

Here I am posting links to thejudge13 site in the Ferrari thread...again! :yikes: what am I thinking?

This is probably not news to the Tifosi, even I knew much of this, but it's a good read and there were certainly some interesting facts about his early life that I didn't know. It's a three part piece on Enzo Ferrari.
I know it's thejudge, but go on steal yourself and have a read!

What I find funny is that Niki Lauda, all that time ago, when he turned up at Ferrari and called the car a sh!tbox, was told not to do so as the Enzo would not like it. Enzo could produce a crap car but his sheer personality, confidence and force still made it great.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and Niki is still calling the Ferrari a sh!tbox, but this time has to apologise because its actually true

Hopefully MM is strong enough to dominate the whole company and create a new competitive Ferrari, I cant wait to see the drivers he picks for the future

I remember Luca dismissing speculations of Stefano Domenicali's demise at Ferrari. It's all part of the game, but that's neither here nor there. What I'd hope we can focus on is getting Ferrari fighting back at the front of the grid instead of fighting for mid field points. The only blame to be had belongs to Ferrari for failing to capitalize on a tremendous opportunity which instead they squandered, next year can't come soon enough!

It would seem that the only team to have capitalized on that "opportunity" was Mercedes, eh?

Generally speaking, in sports, the winner tends to be the one who has capitalised ""best"" on the available opportunities within the agreed upon rules

And the losers tend to be the one who have excuses for not having done so

and the clowns tend to be the ones who try and change the rules or threaten to leave if they dont win!!! eh?
