Point 1 Lewis always admits to his mistakes
point 2 Alonso is light( and Piquet was round about on a heavier car)

Point 1 - He said he has never made a mistake... everytime he blames his own team (or his team-mates).
Point 2 - I supose you have a complete control over the telemetrics of every team..., on P2 I supose all drivers get the lowest amount of fuel as possible..., and that's includes LH too...

Hamilton admitted he duck up last race he didnt blame the team nor has he in the past  infact he has had nothing but praise for the team, in a similar way to Schumi did with Ferrari. Something Alonso could learn, he bags Renault even now with talk of leaving. He isnt a team player!

Lewis was running purple S2 then aborted, anyways most just put in a banker lap in Q2 and save the tyres for Q3 and the race

I don't think it's right to compare the pace of Kubica and Heidfeld and put it down to fuel, because Heidfeld has not had a good weekend apart from practice this morning, whereas Kubica has. The race should be interesting, especially with Alonso up there and the McLarens on the third row. There will actually be some excitement and some battles for places at the front, rather than at the back.

I'd like to see Alonso on the podium just to show that Renault can improve and that they have done so. Also, Piquet has impressed me this weekend by showing that he's capable of matching Alonso's pace. Hopefully he'll finish at least in the top ten and finally make people shut up about his 'poor performance'.

Even if Alonso is light on fuel, that is part of having a smart strategy (and of course he was still strong in Q - fuel loads aside). No doubt the Mclarens and BMWs are still faster than Reanult. But now they have to pass Alonso, which is not easy at all in Barcelona.

Plus: How many times has Lewis passed Alonso in a race? what has happened each time he attempts?

Everyone knows Alonso went out to steal the show, he got a low tank, bt I dont think it'll be as low as what somepeople think. They are still behind, but Renault are now 4th in the pecking order for me. They are snapping at the heels of Mclaren and BMW and will surely get stronger. Watch out for Fernando in Monaco!

Their Qualy pace looked really gd, what I liked about the Renault today was how hooked up it looked out their. I've watched Fernando wrestle that car in the first 3 races, so they basically got some things sorted. The only ways is up.

It's only one qualifying session, but even 5th would be one hell of an achievement for Renault tommrow! That's realistic.

So those blasting the result, most of us realise that Renault won't win tommrow...

You don't see me making topics such as 'STUPID FECKING ALONSO GOT P2' bla bla bla, 'FECK YOU RENAULT' bla bla bla, so don't come making posts saying about how s*** RD and Lewis and the Mclaren team are.

And yeah im with u mate, I won't sit and slag off Mclaren, unless they were doing a terrible job, which they aren't. Lewis needs to regroup... he really has lost a bit of focus, not his fault, just the car stunned him today

Thank you ^ Im glad you agree, Alonso isn't my most favoured person, nor is Ferrari but I still respect them and don't make pathetic posts saying how rubbish another team is and that they suck, Mclaren don't suck they are just going through a rough patch, like Renault have and ferrari have in the past with reliability

I'm really unhappy now, this is turning out to be a crap season, another crap day for Williams and it's sickening seeing Webber and Trulli being in the top 10 too. It'll be another crap race like it always is at this stupid track. Roll on next year... :(

Of course Alonso is light. But I highly doubt he is running so light he would compromise his race strategy at his home circuit just to qualify well. No, Alonso is planning for a "good result".

Only way Massa will overtake Alonso will be in the pits.

Yeah, pity bout Williams... thts why im a bit hesistant bout Renault. Barcelona is a funny track, it may be all reversed by Turkey... I mean Rosberg is well off the pace!
