Mags is only a rookie. I'd say he's shown enough potential to have another shot.

We said that about Perez.

We did, but Perez wasn't a homegrown McLaren babe and he wasn't a rookie. mags is.

I really hope Magnussen is kept on, I'll be pretty annoyed if he isn't.

Forget Perez, it's Whitmarsh and to a certain extent Jenson we should be discussion here. Still no sign of former. Perhaps when he finally crawls out of his boothole he'd care to explain why he handed a £16M + contract to a guy who was quite clearly not fit to lead the team. Boullier and Ron are no fools though. They will make the necessary changes to bring the team back to where it should be.

and as the article says...whereas the top drivers might not take the gamble, given his current status & despite Lotus switching to Merc engines....Grosjean maybe prepared to take that leap..


And...Jens can't complain...he owes RG one ..for the Spa win..when RG put Lewis & Nando et al...out before the first corner....
