Ferrari have a new plan. Magic paint. Aparently Marussia have reported a 20bhp increase.

http://paddocktalk.com/news/html/story-258662.html

Surely if the paint works Ferrari wont let Marrusia use it, why hand any advantage over to the competition, maybe they are contractually obliged to share engine performance enhancements, but this cant be classed as an engine performance ehancement because of the engine homologolation.
Maybe it was Marussia that came up with the idea and are not just testing it for Ferrari like the report claims. And how does paint that gives better performance be classed as a reliability upgrade when Ferrari have had no reliability problems with the heat shielding

Ferrari special dispensation at work? And what happened to their mising engine cover that they promised to put back on at some point?

Something fishy going on here I suspect with their new engine cover

I had you pegged for liking "tight" rear ends.

I like them both - for variety

Ferrari has announced changes to the organisation of its technical staff following the troubled start to its 2014 campaign.

Luca Marmorini, who has been the team’s director of engine and electronics since 2010, has left the company. Following changes to the power unit department Mattia Binotto has taken over as chief operating officer.

The team confirmed technical director James Allison will continue to oversee car development alongside chief designer for chassis Nikolas Tombazis and chief designer for power unit Lorenzo Sassi.

Marco Mattiacci took over as Ferrari’s team principal in April after Stefano Domenicali stepped down from the team.

I think you confused it with the denial that Pat Fry was sacked.
And this was a few days ago:
Speaking at Silverstone following reports of Marmorini’s ousting, a Ferrari spokesman said: “I have no comment to make on this. We are re-organising several areas of our structure and when we’re ready to make an announcement, we’ll let you know.”

You know with Ferrari, I really want to like them, all the romance and history and gorgeous road cars. I would give....lots :D , for a yellow Ferrari. But the thing is, I don't like that they want to tweek the rules to suit them. That's the thing I struggle with. They moan about the engine because they did bad with it, despite being given all the same chances as anyone else, and also saying a lot that engines are what they're all about. And they keep going on about more testing because they've got two test tracks and lots of money. In fairness to Ferrari, the money Red Bull, McLaren and Merc spend on simulators and computers ( the things that work stuff out, csf or something?) is as much as the testing anyway, but Ferrari aren't so good at this so they don't like it and they want to go back to loads of testing. Actually I think I'd prefer the testing because we get to see it, but Ferrari can't just decide that because they're no good at the other stuff.
I like the new np an and I think slowly he might be trying to change the philosophy of Ferrari. I think he's ruthless and I think that's good.
If somehow Lewis ended up at Ferrari I'd love them!:rofl:

Is it just me, or is there a little bit (just a little) of rage in this post. :scratchchin:
.

i suspect if you want to see real rage you would need the key to the Tifosi lounge. I reckon they have a dartboard themed thread in there just for me :hehe:

Image That's simply Imagehilarious Image!!
Wait!! You're serious, aren't you? Image
Image Well, now I know just how full self-importance you really are!!
