The FIA on Thursday launched the "Everyrace" campaign to send the message "that discrimination and prejudice can have no place in sport or in society".

The campaign was created in the wake of the outrage caused when Lewis Hamilton was taunted with racist abuse during testing at Barcelona earlier this year.

The governing body has encouraged motorsport fans to visit the campaign's website to show their support.

In a statement released on Thursday, the FIA also said it had received a comprehensive report on the Barcelona incidents by the Spanish federation, and that no further action would be taken.

"The FIA is grateful to the RFEA and the Catalunyan circuit authorities for their effective and efficient response to this situation," the statement said.

"The FIA has monitored the measures recommended and implemented since February and has noted that no further such incidents have occurred.

"The FIA agrees with the RFEA assessment that the people involved in these incidents were "not at all representative of the thousands of people who enjoy a convivial atmosphere and the spectacle offered by motor sport."

"The FIA and the RFEA are committed to the principle of sport open to all."

Rich coming from an organisation that is allowing a Nazi to continue to run itself.

If Max Mosley is allowed to be racist, what right does he have to tell me, you, drivers, teams other sports, etc. not to be? What a shining example Max Mosley is.

MM / FIA act as a law unto themselves and have done for many years. "do as I say, not as I do" is MMs motto I think.

Maybe, just to show that there is no racism in MMs 'hobby', he could invite us all, whether we are Jews, Christians, black or white, or whatever, to beat his arse 'til it bleeds. There could even be a direct video link to utube!! :D

I'd be first in the queue

Yes, maybe it is boring now AKR, but that's really because the story is dragging on because MM has not done the 'honorable' thing, and gone of his own accord. In any other commercial organisation any senior exec. would be long gone, but because the FIA is unaccountable then this sort of behavior thrives.
His position is now untenable because so many of the people with whom he has to do business have demanded his resignation. If the FIA do not pass a vote of no confidence the FIA it self will come into ridicule, and so it should.
I know that you don't want to see Max go, but I find that your reasons for this are as dishonourable as MM's refusal to leave. For anybody to openly condone the concept of winning at any cost, without regard for the rules, and the spirit of the rules, is an amoral approach that is not worthy of our sport.
There are, of course, lots of examples where people and organisations within the sport have not behaved appropriately, and that is to be condemned, but to condone it, and therefore, to encourage it, is not acceptable to me.

This is a waste of time. Motorsport does not have a racism problem.

I agree JB, but thie FIA has launched this initiative whilst not dealing with their own, in house, issue with the president, and the main problem with his activities is that it IS seen as racist - Nazi etc.
The sport does not have a racist image problem but MM does.
